...Time For Action!
The Avenues Neighborhood Improvement Plan has been adopted! This is a very important milestone, as we can now focus on getting some projects done. Moving from the planning phase to the implementation phase is an important opportunity for CANA to reach out to it neighbors and invite those who have an interest in getting more involved to do so. Neighbors can participate in improvement activities based on their area of interest. Join one, or all the focus groups.
The Avenues Plan Implementation meetings are confirmed for the Enloe Conference Center from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for the dates below. Here are the details of the first year Action Plan projects in the following focus areas:
- May 19 - Circulation (includes traffic calming projects, pedestrian safety) - Planetree Room
- June 2 - Enloe Area Improvements - Room 101
- June 9 - Historic Resources & School Improvements (Citrus, initially) - Planetree Room
- June 23 - Parking & Code Enforcement - Room 101
